This 13 inch tall baby, circa the 1930s, was manufactured by the Cameo Doll Company. The doll, made to represent a new born infant was designed by Grace Storey Putnam. This doll has a composition flange neck head with a closed mouth and sleep eyes. The composition is in good condition with no repaint and minimal crazing. The doll has composition hands and the original stamped cloth body. The body is stamped on the back, "Patent 1600350//SEPT.212t. 1926//Grace Storey Putnam. The back of the head is marked in raised lettering, "Grace Storey Putnam." The doll wears a white cotton lace trimmed Christening dress and underclothing. The dress does have some splitting and wear to the fabric.
