This 6 ¼ inch tall figurine, circa the early 20th century, was created by the German firm of Gebruder Heubach. The boy wearing spectacles and holding, what appears to be, either a writing utensil or a politically incorrect cigarette or cigar, sits in a chair. I believe the figurine is meant to represent a young boy dressing up like a older man complete with spectacles and cigar. The inside of the figurine displays the sunburst stamp of the Gebruder Heubach firm. The little boy has all the charm and detailed modeling of the Heubach dolls of the same period. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
