This Alexanderkin #476 from 1955 is an 8" straight leg walker. Her lovely costume is made of white organdy with red trim and a red satin ribbon sash, She holds a purse of red satin trimmed in gold. She has an organdy slip and panties. Her costume is in very good condition and still crispy.
This is one of Madame's dolls with a special hair style – part of it pulled back into curls and the rest in a flip. I remember hearing Lia Sargent talk about what set some of Madame's dolls apart as particularly valuable for collectors. She said that a special hair style like this doll's was one of those features.
