This unsigned butterfly pin was identified as an early Coro piece by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown, who wrote a book on Coro jewelry. These are very rare and hard to find. This comes from my personal collection.
It is circa 1935 and set in pot metal. The wings are set with pale pink glass fruits or tulips. The rest of the body is set with clear rhinestones.
As to be expected, there is some light wear to the metal finish, but the majority of the rhinestones are bright and shiny with very few showing their age. The overall condition is excellent.
It measures 3.5 x 1.75 inches. A must for the serious collector!
An eclectic mix, from Victorian to Mexican silver to rhinestones. You can never have enough jewelry!
In addition to Paypal, I also accept all major credit cards, checks and MO.
