Absolutely gorgeous color in this banded agate. This wonderful Victorian watch fob was made by JM Fisher Co. from Attleboro, MA. It is hallmarked PAT. 6-9-08 (June 9, 1908) JMF & Co. on the clip and JMF & Co on the swivel clasp. The findings appear to either be rolled gold or gold filled. The chains have darkened and therefore may not be gold filled.
The three round graduated banded agate discs have beautiful color and striations and are in perfect condition. If you are so inclined, the agate part would make a beautiful pendant, too. The fob (from the clip to the bottom of the agate discs) measures 4.5 inches. The agate discs measure approximately 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch across respectively.
Other than the aforementioned darkening to the chain, the fob is in excellent condition.
An eclectic mix, from Victorian to Mexican silver to rhinestones. You can never have enough jewelry!
