Signed Donald Stannard spring hinged enamel bracelet with gold tone rams' heads. Stannard started his career as an assistant to Kenneth Jay Lane. You can see the similarity between this piece and some of the KJL ram head pieces. In 1972, Stannard started his own line and this is one of those pieces.
The top of the bracelet features detailed rams heads facing each other with open mouths. The rest is done in a cream colored enamel with gold tone rope design. There is a little wear on the nose of one ram and a very small break in the enamel near the hinge. You have to look closely to notice these imperfections. The rest is in excellent condition.
It is signed (twice) Donald Stannard and measures approximately 7 inches, but can easily stretch to accommodate a larger wrist.
An eclectic mix, from Victorian to Mexican silver to rhinestones. You can never have enough jewelry!
