Phenomenal clamper bracelet by Kenneth Jay Lane! I was able to find out via a man who worked for KJL that this is a very unusual bracelet. It was most likely made for the runway and that it was made in very limited quantities due to its unique horn design. (It can also double as a weapon!) It is done in gold tone metal (possibly gold plated) and has graduated textured mesh cones.
It is also a book piece, and along with its matching ring, can be found in Warman's Jewelry 3rd Edition, pg. 209. It says it is from 1965 and refers to the design as "acorns".
This bracelet is in near mint condition with only a tiny bit of wear on the inside finish near the hinge. The rest is excellent with no wear, dings, or damage.
As you can see from my photos, this is a very high profile piece, which is why it was made in such limited quantities. The inside circumference is 7 inches, but its construction will accommodate a larger wrist. The tallest horns sit nearly 1.75 inches high.
This is a once in a lifetime find, a must for the KJL collector.
