Vintage carved Chinese brown striated nephrite jade bracelet depicting 2 dragons facing each other, chasing a "pearl". The bottom part has carved balls. This is a very popular and important motif in Chinese art. According to Wikipedia, "The pearl is associated with spiritual energy, wisdom, prosperity, power, immortality, thunder, or the moon. Chinese art often depicts a pair of dragons chasing or fighting over the flaming pearl."
The bracelet's exact age is unknown but similar to other vintage and antique bangles I have found through research. It is in excellent condition with no cracks.
The inner circumference is 8 inches and it weighs 60.8 grams.
An eclectic mix, from Victorian to Mexican silver to rhinestones. You can never have enough jewelry!
