In the 1940's, Boucher had a production line of brooches that were made in Mexico. The other famous pieces were ballet dancers. This large brooch has the same fluid lines as the ballerina pins. In the center is a large unfoiled emerald green pear shaped rhinestone.
The brooch is in excellent condition with minimal finish wear. It is simply signed Mexico, the same as the other pieces in this line. I have seen this described as sterling vermeil and also gold plated base metal. I am unsure which is correct.
It measures 2.5 x 2.75 inches and is ready to grace your outfit.
