A Nepalese coin set in Sterling silver is suspended from a necklace of Chinese nuggets and rondelles, with Sterling silver beads framing the pendant and serving as spacers. The necklace is approximately 20 inches around and fastens with a Sterling silver flower and leaf hook clasp. The pendant drop adds 1-3/4 inches to the length.
All of the turquoise is presumably stabilized and possibly dyed.
Believe it or not, I found the pendant quite by accident on QVC, where I never ever shop. It just popped up on my computer one day. The back of the pendant is engraved "HSC 925 Nepal." I do not know what the initials stand for, unless they are for the artisan's name.
This would make a terrific gift for the holidays if you buy it soon. At midnight it turns into a pumpkin. (Just kidding.)
Thanks for coming to my shop today.
