This handsome man's necklace features a pendant of leopard skin Jasper and Sterling silver. It is strung with leopard skin Jasper rectangles and rondelles and rondelles of Red Creek Jasper and Mookaite. The spacers, which provide contrast and flexibility, are my old standby, 3mm Sterling silver round beads. (I'd be lost without them.). The necklace is 17-5/8 inches end to end, including the Sterling silver hook clasp with a bamboo motif, and has a pendant drop of 1-1/4 inches.
Do you ever wonder why I capitalize some words and not others? I am not doing it; my phone is. Whenever it sees a word that looks like a person's name (Jasper, for instance), it automatically capitalizes it. The other day I was using the word "Dolphins," and it capitalized it, too, so apparently it is a sports fan as well. If you are an iPhone user, you know how difficult it is to change what the phone does to your words of wisdom: it is possible but very time-consuming. My mother, who was a stickler for proper grammar, would never understand why I long ago decided to go with the flow, but then she never had an iPhone to deal with. (Okay, Mom. I'll change that to "an iPhone with which to deal." She abhorred sentences that ended with a preposition.)
That said, I hope you like this creation of mine. I called it a man's necklace, but of course it can be worn by a woman, too. Thank you for shopping with me and putting up with the English lesson. You are very much appreciated.
