This lovely necklace, in choker size, was created using kyanite marquise beads, Swarovski copper pearls (glass), and imagination. "What?" you say. "Where's the imagination in this?" Ah, my dear Watson. You do not know me very well. This is Connie. You know--the one who is always using silver in her designs. Notice anything different? "You've got to be kidding! Copper-colored beads connote imaginative design?" For me they do. Baby steps, Watson, baby steps. Maybe next week I'll put fucshia and chartreuse together. "Please don't." All right. But what do you think of the copper with the blue of the kyanite? "I rather like it." Thank you. I do, too.
Kyanite beads: 25x10mm; copper pearls, 6mm. The necklace is 17-5/8 inches, end to end, including the wonderful 24K gold vermeil (over Sterling silver) Bali hook clasp. I thought of using a copper clasp, for the sake of consistency, but copper tarnishes, so I gave you gold instead. (The copper pearls should not tarnish.)
In spite of the somewhat heated discussion above, between Watson and me, if you would rather have a kyanite and silver necklace, just let me know and I will re-work the piece for you. The cost will be under one thousand dollars. (Only kidding! I'll do it for free.)
Thank you for coming to my shop. The energy here is a bit crazy today. Maybe it is because the planet Mars is going retrograde. "WHAT?!?" Don't get me started on this subject, but no fooling, Mars is going retrograde, and that happens only every two years or so--unlike Mercury, which does it every whip-stitch. (Are you yawning?? Okay. I'm finished.)
