Exquisite does not begin to describe this Florenza brooch. This amazingly beautiful brooch is a companion piece to the necklace and pin found on page 150 of Julia C. Carroll's, "Collecting Costume Jewelry 101." It measures approximately 2"x 2 3/4". It is from the 1960's and has Florenza's characteristic unusual stones. These are somewhat psychedelic, giving the piece a new twist on a micro-mosaic look without the tessare. Brilliant turquoise pear shaped stones highlight the piece. It is signed Florenza on the back. This estate piece is in excellent condition and would be a good addition to the collection of either a beginner or a seasoned professional.
