Vintage Mid Century Pomeranian Pin. Martin Luther. Michelangelo. Sir Isaac Newton. Mozart. Chopin. Queen Victoria. What do all of these famous people have in common? Each of them loved their Pomeranian's. Each was important to their owners. Belferlein was mentioned in Martin Luther's transcripts. An unnamed, but very spoiled Pom sat on a satin pillow and watched as Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Sir Isaac's Diamond, was a loyal and faithful companion. Pimperl, Mozart's Pom, had an aria written for him. Chopin wrote "Valse des Petits Chiens" for his lover's Pom, and Queen Victoria loved her Pomeranian's so, that she requested her favorite, Turi, be brought to her death bed.
This beautiful Pomeranian pin from the 1950's is a rarity indeed. It shows this beautiful champion in it's finest stance. Measuring ¾"x 1 ¼ " this diminutive pin, brushed gold tone metal with a glue set chaton ruby rhinestone is a distinctive pin filled with grace and style. It is easily worn by either a male or a female on a lapel, hat, tie, collar or shirt and would be the talk of the town at any show or competition. This puppy is rare.
