These were amazing, and are rare to see. Bless Janice Naibert's heart for importing these wonderful leather doll shoes made in the Philippines. in the 1960s and 1970s. These shoes are quality made of a very sturdy leather, and this particular pair in "Jumeau red' has been worn by many of my girls over the years with nary a crack or rip in the leather! The shoes are entirely made of leather, soles, innersoles and uppers. Inside the innersole is a label with a faded sticker, PH - 13m and the inside of the shoes are stamped 1871 Made in Philippines. These don't compare to the "home-made shes" we attempt to make for our bebes today. The shoes measure 2-3/4" long (they have a pointed toe) by 1-3/8" wide. They measure 1-9/8" high in back.
