This is a wonderful pair of antique dollhouse chairs, made of wood, with silk upholstery and silk trim. The chairs were glued, and the back of one chair is loose. I will leave it to the buyer to re-glue (or not). The silk fabric is a lovely mauve color, and the silk fringe trim has faded to a light beige color. Some of the fringe has melted, and the back of one chair has a minor melted area. There is an indentation on the back corner of one seat cushion. I received this pair as a gift, and was told they date from the turn of the century (19th into 20th). The chairs are in remarkable condition for the age, but they were un-played with, and carefully packed away for over 50 years. The chairs measure 3-3/4" high, the seat is 2-1/8" wide at the front and 1-5/8" wide in back, and the seat is 1-1/2" deep.
The color is as shown in the photos, except for the last photo.
