Here are two antique petticoats for antique dolls. The fist is an off-white cotton which would brighten up with a gentle hand washing. It is completely hand sewn, closes with a button and button hole. It currently measures 6" in length, however someone shortened it to this length, as there is a hand sewn pleat inside which would add an extra 1-1/2" to the length if taken apart and would increase the length to 7-1/2". The waistline is set in and measures 9-1/2" around, the skirt is cartridge pleated, and the fabulous lace trim at the hem is 1-1/2" wide. The second white cotton petticoat has a set in waistband, closes with a button and button hole, is hand and machine sewn. It has a flat front, and is gathered in back. It has an 11" waistline is 8" long in front measured from the top of the waistband and is 8-1/2" long in back. There are 6 dainty pin tucks in back, and there is lovely lace trim at the hem. The back seam needs to be stitched since it has a rip at the bottom of the placket. There is foxing in front below the waist and the fabric has deteriorated. The smaller holes are pinhead size, the larger hole measures 1/2" across X 1/16". Priority mail includes insurance.
