Bless my Mom who could not resist buying antique pieces consisting of childrens tea sets, place settings, and silverware. The one piece is unmarked. The trim on the bowl matches the trim on the lid. There is a chip on the lid as shown in the photos. There is gold leaf accenting on the lid edges, the top of the lid, the bowls edges and handles on the bowl but much of it has worn off; there is a wonderful design of burgundy over pink on the lid and bowl. There is a small chip on the lid measuring 3/16" wide by 1/16" deep. The lid fits a bit loosely, but this is a darling piece dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. There are no marks. There are several rough areas on the bottom unglazed portion of the bowl. This lid fits, but feels a bit on the loose side, and might have been a lid from another piece in this particular set. The piece measures 2-3/4" tall with the lid in place, the bowl measures 4-1/2" wide from handle to handle, and the opening on the bowl is 2-5/8" in diameter.
