This absolutely stunning early 1930s rhinestone pot metal bracelet is made with all clear rhinestones. Much of the jewelry of the 1920s White Period is known for its clear rhinestones pieces. This bracelet is made of seven links with 2 dozen rhinestones each. The little connectors between the links, including the clasp, each have 2 rhinestones. That's 182 rhinestones all present and accounted for. The shape of the links is softer which was typical after the Art Deco period. It really does sparkle beautifully.
It measures 7 1/2" long and 9/16" wide. Pot metal encompasses a variety of metal content as whatever metal was left over at the end of the day was thrown into a pot and mixed. Therefore, some pot metal is harder and sturdier than others. This particular bracelet seems to be made of sturdier metal and does not seem soft. On close inspection with a loupe, the rhinestones have a slight yellowish tinge but look less so to the naked eye. Great bracelet!
