This gorgeous Mary Ann Rosenfeld leather purse, from the 1970s, can be a clutch or use the with the strap - cross body works too, it's long enough! The stitched pleated front in a V shape is classic and stylish and has a magnetic snap closure. The thin shoulder strap is removable by detaching it on each side with the lobster type clasps. The rings to which they attach are not very big and not noticeable when the strap is off. The clasps have tops that spin so that the strap won't twist around. Clutches are all the rage just now, so this one is the perfect accessory in a great neutral color. There is a side pocket on the back of the purse. The inside has a zippered section at the back and an open pocket on the other side. It is sparkling clean and appears to have never been used.
There is a metal plate with the name Mary Ann Rosenfeld whose company was in Los Angeles in the 1970s. It measures 11" wide, 7" high and approximately 2 1/4 to 2 1/2" deep, and the strap is 48" long. It is in great condition!
