With graceful swirls sort of like a cornucopia, these Mexican artisan earrings are stunning. The shape is classic and will be stylish for years to come. Screw backs allow the wearer to adjust the earrings to their earlobes making for a comfortable fit.
The old SILVER MEXICO mark found on each of these old screw backs was used in Mexico from the 1920s through the mid 1940s. The purity of the silver used at that time was typically better than .925 (925/1000 parts of silver) which is considered sterling. So, the silver is purer that our own sterling.
They measure 1 1/8" high and a bit over 1/2" wide. As mentioned, they are each stamped MEXICO SILVER. The screw backs work well and the earrings are in excellent condition. Nice size too!
