The design patent number 150604 for this fur clip was issued to Adolph Katz for Coro on August 17, 1948 and described as Circle with Bow at Top. A diagram of the design can be seen on page 71 of "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" by Julia C. Carroll.
The double circle fur clip is adorned with a curled bow all in bright gold toned metal. The center of the bow is a nest of amethyst rhinestones with a scattering of tiny clear ones. It is a beautifully constructed piece with the metal still bright and shiny.
The fur clip works well and snaps back into place nicely. Both inner and outer circle are each signed Coro in script. It measures a bit over 1 3/4" across and a bit over 2" high. Beautiful condition too.
