Coro created several variations of hand brooches in the 1940s. This one is probably from 1948 as the ruffled sleeve and hand are identical to one pictured on page 67 which is design patent to Adolph Katz, in Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia C. Carroll. The flowers are different on the one pictured.
This one is gold toned metal with tiny faux pearl petals and with amethyst colored rhinestone centers. It is signed Coro in script on the back.
It is in excellent condition. It measures a bit over 2" high and about 1" wide overall.
