Ed Levin named this pin Horizon and it has been popular since the 1960s. This one is vintage from an Estate collection of sterling silver pieces. I have others in the shop now from the same collection. The design is simple, elegant and understated. It is now being made in 14K gold.
It is 2 3/4" long and a bit over an inch at its widest. There is a safety catch that works well. The pin back is one piece with the design. It folds under the pin and meets the locking clasp. Very nice. It is in excellent condition.
American modernist, Ed Levin began making handcrafted jewelry in 1950 and was considered a premier craftsman. The company he founded still carries on his legacy.
