This vintage, hand-crafted Modernist sterling silver hinged, two-part brooch pin can be converted to a pendant. It is 2 5/8” high and 2 1/16” wide at the widest.
The silver was cast with raised triangles, circles, and squares. Two ribbed bars on each segment are attached with soldered silver rings. In the center of each segment is a translucent deep red glass enamel circle.
There are three marks on the back of the mid-century piece: one is for the Israeli standard for sterling, one is an Hebrew word or letter, and the last is 925.
A safety clasp pin is soldered to the upper segment. The two bars on this section will accommodate a chain (not included) so you may wear the brooch as a pendant.
Condition is very fine.
