This 1980's Givenchy gold-plated bangle is wide, bold, and flexes on and off. The outer walls are peaked in the center and the inside walls are flat.
The expansion style, also called "Gaspipe" in the early 20th century and 1940's Retro periods, maintains its shape without stretching out, supported by hidden inner springs. Width is 1 1/4" and thickness is 3/8". The unstretched inner circumference is 6 7/8" and the stretched inner circumference is 8". (This may not fit larger hands so please compare to a piece you already own or measure your hand at knuckles with fingers together if in doubt.)
"Givenchy Paris New York" is stamped on the oval plaque inside. Condition is very fine.
