This large 1930's Czechoslovakian Art Deco jade-color ribbed glass teardrop pendant is topped with an extra fancy hanging bail which is jointed in the middle and finished with three crystal rhinestones.
The total height of the pendant including the bail (but not the ring that holds the chain) is 2 1/4" and the width of the glass drop is 3/4".
The glass has mottled tones of green and white and is ribbed on both sides. The silver-plated bail has a pierced floral motif over the pendant and graduated stones just under the chain.
The ring at the top of the bail is soldered securely closed; it is stamped with very tiny letters reading "Czechoslov". There is some loss of the silver plating on the bail reverse and the ring only.
The silver-tone chain necklace is 18" long and closes with a secure clasp. There are no chips or cracks in the pendant and all the stones are bright.
