This 1950's necklace has a pendant with a 14K yellow gold-filled setting holding a green chalcedony (also called chrysoprase), a gemstone very popular in the Art Deco period. It is hugged with curved ribbons on each side and is topped with an arc of crystal rhinestones.
This centerpiece has two teardrop side ornaments centered with leaves enhanced with a trio of rhinestones, each. It hangs from two lengths of supple, flat S-chain.
Total length is 15 1/2" and the depth of the oval chrysoprase section is 7/8". It is marked on the back "1/20 12KT G." (the F for "filled is absent). The ring that joins the clasp is stamped with the Carl Art logo and "1/20 12K G.F." Condition is very fine.
