These 1940's Retro dress clips of fur clips have ruffled edges around the concave cups with prong-set square step-cut cobalt glass stones in the center.
Each clip is 1 5/8" wide and 3/8" thick. The finish is in very good condition, great luster and no wear spots. I believe they were lacquered to avoid tarnish; there is one dried round clear spot on one near the stone which I think is this lacquer.
The prongs are tension style and grip very well. One set of prong clips is set a little askew but it doesn't affect appearance from the front.
Overall condition is very fine. The simple bold design and vivid blue stones make this pair a standout!
