This vintage 14K rose gold and green nephrite jade brooch has seven gemstone cabochon marquise cut leaves on a curving stem with scroll.
The design is 2 1/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 3/16" thick. Each nephrite leaf is supported on a full frame with double triangle prongs on each end protecting the tips. Gold wires connect each leaf and create an overall spade shape.
The pin stem secures with a safety clasp. There is a double-stamped "14K" on the back along with a larger stamp I cannot identify. The nephrite leaf in the setting has a chip on the back, it is not a crack and doesn't affect the sides or top of the stone.
The gemstone leaves test as nephrite. Total weight is 8.4 grams. This is a sleek and elegant brooch with a timeless style.
