This "fine jewelry" look necklace is made of green crystal faceted round beads interspersed with 14K yellow gold spacer beads.
The necklace is 14 ½” long and the crystal beads are 11mm in diameter. The beads are a rich green, translucent shade and have a glow in bright light. This green chalcedony color is easily mistaken for the best jade (it is also the color of the popular Art Deco gem chrysoprase).
The beads are strung on gold-filled fine chain to support the weight. The clasp is a replacement for the original broken one. The spring-ring clasp is stamped “1/20” with a partial maker’s mark (the rest of the mark was cut off at the opening). A chain extender could easily be attached to provide multiple length options.
We have tested the gold beads and warrant they are 14K purity. Condition is very fine. Total weight is approximately 55 grams.
