This circa 1920 baby's ring has a 14K rose gold shell band with scrolls set with a single crystal solitaire.
The size 2 1/2 ring is just over 1/4" high at the front. The oval face has a hand-cut starburst with two hand-tooled prongs holding the crystal. The ring's shoulders have rich curling scrolls facing opposite directions.
Inside the ring is stamped "1/30 14K SHELL". This means there is a heavy 14K gold layer over the base, this is a composition very similar to gold-filled.
The ring is old, unsold stock and is in very fine, unworn condition. It's an ideal gift for a young baby on a birthday, confirmation or for a special photo event.
