This late 19th century-early 20th century band ring has a tall rectagular curved signet panel front on which you can engrave a monogram or message.
The size 4 1/2 ring is 11/16" high and 7/16" wide at the front. The band of the ring is about 3/32 (or 2mm) wide. The gold has a warm, slightly rose pink tone.
"14K Gold Shell" is stamped inside the ring with a star in front of that. Gold shell is a heavy layer of gold over the base metal; such items are typically thicker and more durable than gold-filled items. This is circa 1900 old store stock, never sold, and in very fine condition.
