ANTIQUE JAPANESE SATSUMA VASE
WITH WOOD STAND
15 INCHES TALL
MOVING SALE!!!! Downsizing big time!!! My Mother collected Asian antiques for years. She passed away a few years ago at the age of 90. Ever since I was a kid in the 60's, our house was always filled with great Chinese and Japanese porcelains, jades, wood, cloisonne, and more. Back then, she worked part time at an antique shop. She never came home with a paycheck, instead it was another ginger jar, vase, or statue!!!
I am selling most of the collection, only keeping my absolute favorites. My loss is your gain!!! I am not an expert on these items. I will try my best to give a good description to the best of my knowledge. So here goes...
Excellent condition. 19th Century Japan. Satsuma vase. 15 inches tall (add an extra 1 1/2 inches to height with stand), 11 inches at the widest. Super heavy, weighs almost 7 lbs. Light wear, no cracks. Some of the gold finish has rubbed off. Fine crackle glaze finish underneath. Great detail!!! Has a hole in the bottom (was probably turned into a lamp at some point). Plus antique wooden stand!!!
Attention International Buyers: Any order or combined order of $25 or more will only ship either Express or Priority (orders under $25 can ship first class). These services are pricey, so be sure to contact me for quote before buying. Thank you.
