Beautiful antique ring is in excellent condition and is so unusual. Fashioned in 14k yellow and white gold, the center of the ring features a chrysoprase cabochon mounted in an open backed yellow gold mounting. Prong set the rectangular stone measures 6.50 mm x 5.30 mm.
The diamonds in this ring are stunning. Oval, mine cut prong set stones just sparkle. Each of the 12 stones measures 3.50 mm and there is a combined, approximately 2.20 cwt. The face of the ring is 14k white gold and the diamonds are slightly opened in the back.
The setting is just as pretty as the stones. A leaf motif is carved in the shank and the underside of the ring's face. Amazing attention to detail. Surface measurements are 7/8" x 1/2" in width. Item weight is 6.2 grams.
In excellent condition, we estimate it to date from the early 1900's. It is not hallmarked but both the top and shank of the ring did pass the acid test for 14k. Currently a size 6 1/2, it can be re-sized. If you have sizing questions, feel free to email us.
