One of our favorite precious stones is the beautiful pink tourmaline. We are pleased to offer this gorgeous, 1950's, lady's diamond and pink tourmaline ring. Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the ring features approximately 2.35 genuine pink tourmaline stones with a diamond center.
Two of the faceted pink tourmalines are fashioned in a princess cut and are mounted at an angle at both the top and bottom of the ring. At the sides are two more, slightly larger stones, faceted and cut in a modified rectangular shape. Beautiful stones are alive with hot pink color.
The princess cut stones each measure 4mm square while the rectangular stones each measure 7mm x 3.5mm. The stones are mounted in a plain gold bezel. In the center of the ring, raised slightly above the tourmalines, is a round cut diamond.
The detailing on the shank is just as pretty as the tourmaline stones. The open cut filigree setting extends to the back part of the shank where it becomes solid gold.
Currently a size 8, this ring can be re-sized. If we can assist with sizing questions, please feel free to ask. Surface measurements of the ring are 3/4" across x 3/4" long. Except for the slightly raised diamond center, the ring does lay flush against the hand. Total item weight is 4.3 grams.
In excellent condition, this ring dates from the early 1950's and is hallmarked 14k. Statement ring has excellent presence on the hand. Layaway is available. Thanks.
