Dancing Donkey Brooch-Coro-1945
Easy to see why this very pleasing design from Coro (mid 1940's) is featured in so many book about collecting costume jewelry. "dancing Donkey" pin is just too sweet. Crafted in gold tone metal, the brooch features a donkey mid step. Clear red stones accent his large ears and eye. Clear baguette rhinestones comprise the main and smaller round cut stones accent the tail.
Brooch measure 1 1/2" wide x 2 1/8". Stays secure with a sturdy pin and working safety clasp. Total item weight is 17.7 grams. Hallmarked Coro,in script with the Pegasus symbol. In excellent vintage condition, there is a slight loss of the gold tone on the back. Coro produced jewelry from 1901 to 1979. Thanks.
