Wonderful set of six 18th century American Coin Silver serving spoons with the classic fiddleback handles, by New York City silversmith John Schanck (aka Schenck). Each piece has a period engraved feathered script monogram AB. This set is in exceptional condition and show very little wear. The edges are very crisp including the bowls.
Dimensions are 8 7/8" long with a 3 1/8" long by 3/4" wide bowl.
Weight is 335.20 grams, with an average weight of 56 grams each spoon.
Marks are J. SCHANCK.
