Do you seem to have a never ending stream of house guests? Well, for years when I lived in southern California this sign hung in our top floor guest quarters. And with tongue firmly planted in cheek, this "Youth Hostel" sign can now decorate your guest room... wing... cabin... or just hang it over a big comfy sofa. Perfect for the young-at-heart to announce their hospitality, and a first rate piece of Americana.
The letters on this very cool sign are cut out, painted, and applied to a painted board with decoratively cut saw-toothed ends designed to impart a 'rustic camp' character to this piece. There are two eyelets screwed into the top for hanging, or apply a wire to the back if you'd rather.
CONDITION is great. Measures 5 1/2" x 47 1/4" overall, the board is 3/4" thick (not a modern milling standard), and the letters are cut from 3/8" wood and applied to the surface.
So get ready for that influx of seasonal visitors whether they come for the summer sun, the holidays, or just an old fashioned stay. Enjoy!
I'll try to figure out the shipping details and add them later tonight... I think it can ship either USPS Priority or Parcel Post, but I do need to weigh it
