Beautiful leather gloves cheerful enough to welcome Spring, but versatile enough to ward off the chill next Autumn. These beauties still have their original tags from Gimbels, an old department store that sadly closed its doors in 1987 after 100 years. And get a look at that original price - $4.49 on sale for $3.99 - those were the days, no? New peccary gloves like these start somewhere north of $100 up to who-knows-what.
CONDITION is NOS (New Old Stock), never worn. Size 6, original tags intact with the color called 'Pistache" (a good description), Van Raalte label sewn in an inside seam, additional stampings inside. Measure 7 1/2" from the middle of the middle finger to the wrist opening, 3 1/4" across the wrist opening but has a piped slit at the inner wrist which allows additional room for entry, and 2 3/4" across at the base of the fingers.
A perfect shot of color to complement happy seasonal brights or the complexity of tweeds and cashmere - whichever, you'll look smashing. Enjoy!
