A lovely set of two antique Wedgwood cabinet vases, decorated in the Imari style with delightful hand painting and opulent gold detailing. The mark on these pieces was first used in 1878, and the absence of the country of origin dates them prior to 1891.
CONDITION is good, with nearly all the rich gold intact. One vase is perfect with expected crazing, mostly on the bottom. The second vase has a couple of lines at the lip, perhaps an old repair, please look at the pictures. Each vase stands 5" tall.
These are delicate pieces and would look great in a cabinet collection. And how wonderful to have a pair! Treat yourself or someone special. Enjoy!
