An outstanding, antique Royal Worcester vase shaped overall like a tusk with a figural 'antler' handle seemingly held in place by faux rope and rivets, all beautifully rendered in the finest porcelain with rich gilded details. Finished in Royal Worcester's lovely blush ivory surface, with hand painted flowers accented with more gold.
CONDITION is excellent antique, with no problems to report. The mark dates this piece to 1888, with the registration number indicating a 1901 date… perhaps the later date is for the decoration or possibly export. Suffice it to say, this is a marvelous antique piece of Royal Worcester in a wonderful, large size, this piece stands 10 1/4" tall, and measures 4 3/8" in diameter at its bottom.
