This beautiful 19th C antique hand painted porcelain tureen in the Classical taste is ready to grace your 21st C table or decorating needs. The colors are gorgeous with a wide deep blue band and delicately hand painted flowers in copious profusion. Unmarked, but likely Old Paris Porcelain.

CONDITION is wonderful with no cracks, chips, hairlines, no problems at all save some minor wear to the gold here and there as expected. The upper edge of the bowl is unglazed where the lid rests against it when in place. There are no markings save for a difficult to decipher large “6” or “9” hand impressed under the glaze on the bottom inside the foot. Measures 14” long from handle to handle, 8” wide at the rim of the lid, and stands 11 ¾” tall with the lid on the tureen. Weighs 7 lbs. 6.5 oz.
