Here's a German Matte Enamel Bracelet done on Sterling Silver circa 1950s. It is unsigned, but we learn from Ginger Moro in her online article on French vs German Enamels, that these enamels were often unsigned, and the maker is identifiable through the color of the enamel back. Perli's color was Glossy Black, or Speckled Grey. The Motif is whimsical Owls in 5 different adorable poses. It is tested for Sterling Silver, but as our testing equipment cannot differentiate between 925 and 935 silver, we feel certain that this bracelet is 935 silver, as that was the German standard.
This is a Nice sized Bracelet. It is 1 1/8" wide x 7 1/8" long. It fits a medium sized woman's wrist, and is very comfortable and wearable. The wide and long tongue clasp is easy to put on and take off yet it is secure on the wrist. It weighs in at a hefty 97.3 grams, over 3 oz.
Condition is Vintage Excellent.
