Here's an Extremely Handsome Sterling Silver Belt Buckle. This Buckle was Hand Wrought by some Master Silver Smith who was likely one of the Hopi Elders. It features a Striking, Stylized Hopi Bird. It is signed "Hand Made Hopi", and is also stamped Sterling, but the sterling stamp is crooked and double stamped. We feel sure that the sterling stamp was not done by the artisan who made this Exceptional Buckle. It does, however, test for Sterling Silver
This is the size of gentlemen's buckles from years past at 2 ¾" x 1 3/8". It weighs 27.5 grams, and is nicely domed. The buckle bar fits a belt that is 1 1/8" wide, or has tapered terminals that are 1 1/8" wide.
Condition is Very Good. There are shallow scratches throughout, normal for moderate use.
