Franziska Hirsch is known for her delicate handpainting style on unusual serving pieces and dinnerware items. She operated a porcelain studio on Struwestrasse 19 in Dresden, Germany, from 1893 to 1930. The mark on this delicate piece was in use between 1901-1930. Th3 favorite decorative style used by Hirsch was Dresden flowers on a bright white background and she employed a very talented staff of floral artists.
