This is a wonderful and beautifully hand painted Edwardian Era porcelain serving piece. It was hand painted by an amateur artist with a deft hand and great skill on a porcelain blank acquired from Vignaud Freres of Limoges, France. The accomplished porcelain artist was having a creative day and generously filled the bowl with flowers. Artist signature is "A.E.Schooley".
Lovely condition. No cracks or chips. A little wear on the "handles" but the gold is not worn off.
The back displays the underglaze mark 3 in green which dates it to about 1938
