Simpson Hall, Miller & Co. of Wallingford CT Sterling "Frontenac" Pattern Sugar Shell. Measures approximately 6" long; weighs approximately 32 gms./ 20.5 dwt./ slightly over 1 troy oz. Marked on the back with the "Helmet and S PAT'D" also "STERLING". Well-known Art Nouveau pattern ca. 1903 shows flowing vines and flowers on the front and back with a "C" monogram. The bowl shape is reminiscent of an oyster shell. Some minor tarnish spots; in generally good condition for age and use.
