Wonderful PAIR of threaded Repousse Sterling top Cologne Bottles. Measures approximately 5 5/8" high; approximately 1 1/2" round diameter bases. Bears sterling hallmarks [Lion Passant; small letter "f"; Leopard's Head-see photos] for London, England, 1901. Also bears stamp of Mappin & Webb ("Mn Wb" in shield). Clear Cut Glass bottles are in the popular "Cane" pattern. Nearly perfect condition---no cracks; very minor [less than 1/16" ] flake; only very minor roughness along threading on one bottle. The sterling tops maintain their original corks, and weigh approximately 34 grams for both. Decorative monograms on tops. The sterling tops have a lovely scroll and floral design, with a cartouche encircling the initials. Truly beautiful!
