Late 19th century-early 1900s English Oak and Brass Mug with handle. Measures approximately 4" high: top opening diameter approximately 2 1/2" round; base approximately 3 1/4" round. Interior is also brass. Brass has original patina--not polished. Dark oak has some stain loss/thin cracks due to age. Lathe turned--there is a tiny hole on the bottom. There are holes 1/4" above the base--there probably was another brass ring. Crest has not been monogrammed. Beautifully made--graceful shaped handle and bands all have original brass screws. Top brass band and handle [connected] move slightly. Unmarked, but undoubtedly English. Weighs over 9.5 ounces.
